Campaign Story

I have always had a deep desire in my heart to be a mother. As a child growing up I would often play with my baby dolls and pretend that I was taking care of them. As a teenager I enjoyed babysitting and taking care of my younger cousins and sibling. I am often described as a natural nurturer.

At 37 years old I was blessed and fortunate to meet the love of my life and get married. With so much joy in our hearts we began family planning. After several months of trying to conceive with each month resulting in a negative pregnancy test. I scheduled an appointment with my obgyn to get some initial testing done. I was then referred to a fertility clinic. After several weeks of extensive testing the Endocrinologist discovered the cause of my inability to conceive. I had undiagnosed endometriosis that had caused damage to a fallopian tube, positioning of the uterus and my ovarian reserve. IVF would be my only hope to have children.

Due to my condition, I will need two rounds of ivf which significantly increases cost. While we are aggressively saving as much money as possible I decided to create this fundraiser in hopes that we could possible receive some support as we put together funding for our IVF journey.
